Tea Leaf Tales: Care for a slice of mad, tasty, drunken, whiskery apple pie?

Signage always interests me. This one I passed recently is worthy of some consideration.
At Mad O’Rourke’s Pie Shop there is real ale. If the owner weren’t mad, would the ale for purchase be less than authentic? Has the madness spread to the staff, making them a bit strange as well? Or have they just been dipping into the ‘real’ ale?
The very nice cat leaves me without question, or maybe, I am a tad curious if it’s of ponderous size. With a crazy owner and drunken staff, certainly no one is bothering to shoo the feline away from all the samples of pie it desires. With all these goings-on, I’m not entirely sure about the cleanliness of the pie, and you should be advised to consume at your own risk. Albeit quite tasty, you may find a stray cat whisker or two.
